Oldie but Goodie

Disclaimer FYI: This is a reposting... I wrote this in 2006. It is seasonal, and I haven't posted anything in a while. I was not a happy caroler at the time.

Dashing through the rain,
With sandals on my feet,
Because water soaked my mane,
I caught a cold I could not beat.

And so I lost my voice,
My body aches real bad,
My nose is always moist
and I am just really sad.

Oh...Four days off... Four days off..
For days I lie bed.
Oh what fun it is to be so sick and nearly dead!

Achoo... I have the flu...
Oh what fun it is be abismal, bored, and blue! aChoo!

A day or two ago,
I was stressed out at my desk,
then I laid my headphones low,
and let my laptop rest.

A minute or two later,
I was woken from my nap
What.. what .. what's the matter?
I heard a pop and snap.

When I opened up the screen,
I noticed a wierd crack,
Distorting what was scene
It was totally out of whack!

Oh what what what to do!
I could not see a thing,
and I had a paper due
what good tidings does this bring?

Oh... Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Pray I'm careful what I say!
Oh what fun it is to call tech support today! Hey!
Wait on hold! Wait on hold!
I love to wait on hold!
The sound of music from my phone never gets too old! Hold!
